The Center for the Arts Evergreen sent invitations to capital campaign donors for an Open House event to let everyone see the space and learn about our plans going forwards. The crowd that gathered March 10th at the Center for the Arts Evergreen soon-to-be new location was far bigger than anticipated, filling the collection of chairs quickly. The Open House gave CAE supporters and novices alike, the opportunity to tour the new building, study architectural plans for the new Center and even hear directly from the architect, Eric Maule.
“We were delighted at the number that turned out,” said Capital Campaign Chairman, Rome Chelsi. “This was our second Open House so we didn’t anticipate a huge crowd, but we were happy to welcome well over 70 folks that evening.” Proof, that there is growing excitement about our new home!
Maule explained how he will transform the historic building, once the late 1880’s Soda Creek School House, into a cutting-edge art gallery.
The Capital Campaign is anxious to meet the $1.5 million goal in order to complete the entire project at one time; thus, saving money.
Please consider making a donation and becoming a part of this exciting project!
