[heading heading=”Our Vision”]

Since 1974, CAE has provided art exhibitions, special events, lectures, concerts, classes for all ages and more.

In 2015, through the generosity of our donors the $1.5 million historic renovation of the Old Bergen Park Church was completed. Listed on the Historic Registry of Jefferson County, Colorado the building now fulfills the goals of the community: preservation of our local history and the thoughtful repurposing of the site to serve our residents.

CAE’s long-range expansion plans have envisioned an enhanced campus with a second building located north of our current facility. Housing ceramics studios, crafts, and visual arts, the completed campus will serve the community for generations to come.

To meet our need, CAE’s Phase II capital campaign has a goal of $1 million to fund the facility. We are looking for your support to help the Center expand its size and opportunities for our community.

It has been said that whenever things need to be done in Evergreen, people get together and make it happen. Join us today in this exciting project that will bring more art to the community and more community to art.

Now in preliminary planning, our vision for Phase II will provide a 3,500 square feet two story structure, dedicated to sculpture, ceramics and studio space. This new Center will provide a permanent location for arts education and will offer a quality community space to engage residents in our mountain communities.

CAE works collaboratively with Evergreen Artists Association, Sculpture Evergreen, Jazz Fest, local musicians, Evergreen Players, Evergreen Chorale, The Evergreen Chamber Orchestra and other local organizations. Likewise, collaborations with metro museums, including the Denver Art Museum, Anschutz Museum of Western Art, Clyfford Still Museum and others are part of CAE’s efforts to enrich our community experience.

CAE has built a reputation for being adventurous, seeking bold artists for its exhibitions, while embracing innovative, forward-thinking and contemporary ideas in the classroom.
