Our Vision

Since 1974, CAE has provided art exhibitions, special events, lectures, concerts, classes for all ages and more. Just as our community has grown, CAE has grown, and it requires a new space.

To meet our need, CAE’s capital campaign has a goal of $2 million to fund a new art center and sustaining endowment. After a diligent search for a new location, we have purchased the former Bergen Park church to be our new home.

We are looking for your support to help the Center expand its size and opportunities for our community.

It has been said that whenever things need to be done in Evergreen, people get together and make it happen. Join us today in this exciting movement to create a new art center that will bring more art to the community and more community to art.

Project Goals

The new facility will include 5,000 square feet of enhanced instructional, studio, and modern gallery space, artistic programming for families, live performance space, gift shop, reception, administration offices.  Phase II is intended to include 2,000 square feet dedicated to sculpture, ceramics and studio space.  Help build a permanent home for CAE to build community through the arts for years to come. The new Center will provide a forum for public outreach and programs, and will offer quality community space to engage residents in our mountain communities.
